Standards

At HiTech Health we maintain the highest professional standards. HiTech Health Therapists hold multiple degree qualifications and are registered and accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Joining the BACP Register demonstrates that therapists meet high standards of proficiency, professionalism and ethical practice.

Beyond our external accreditations, we also demand the highest standards of impartiality and objectivity in our professional relationships. We will always put the best interests of the client before expediency even if that is sometimes not the easiest path to follow. With this in mind, we support our therapists who provide constructive challenge to clients, colleagues and partners.

We understand that clients and partners working with therapists expect services to be delivered with honesty and integrity. If we believe that a client will benefit from additional services we will always outline if these services could be provided by alternative sources, such as the NHS or a local council.

HiTech Health Boxing Tutors, Defence and Personal Trainers hold multiple (Great Britain Boxing, CYQ and YMCA) qualifications and are registered and accredited with GB Boxing and England Boxing. This demonstrates that trainers meet high standards of proficiency, professionalism and ethical practice.

BACP Registered Therapists

The recognised benchmark of professional recognition for therapists, Registered and Accredited Therapist status is conferred by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and reflects the highest standards of psychological knowledge and expertise.

Therapists who are members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy are bound by the BACP Code of Conduct, and work within the Ethical Framework and Professional Practice Guidelines.

BACP Proficiency Tested

All our practitioner therapists are registered and accredited with the BACP. Membership of the BACP means that the therapist has met the appropriate professional requirements to join the Statutory Register. Registered therapists have sat and passed rigorous Certificate of Proficiency tests with the BACP in order to achieve Registered Membership Status.

“11 young people and 6 youth workers took part in a wellness workshop run by the wonderful Javeed Khan. I met Jav while we were both studying our undergraduate degrees in Youth and Community Work over at Sheffield Hallam University. Since graduating and following our careers, it has been great to get to work together on well-being, self-defence & boxing. Young people rated their knowledge of well-being at the start of the session and then again at the end of the session. 99% of those who attended felt there knowledge had increase! Overall we’ve had a great day!”
